TING CHIP: Summer Love

My heart is dancing in beats as my auricle catches the melody of a sweet name, MIRANGAN.

And as every note hit, a sound of hope is being heard..

The second-half of March and the first-half of April of this year are indeed filled with HA HA PI PI NESS! :D for once again, I'm out serving, sharing love and passing on the light.

Aside from the fact that I gained 5 kg for a month ( Thanks to Ritzee and Jammy boy for the treats), I, for the first time in my life, experienced.. SUMMER LOVE. :)

I've got summer lovin' on..

1. The people of Mirangan.
           I always end up in "near-tears face" whenever they visit us just to share some of their harvested goodies (Pineapples, Corn, Banana). Or even sharing their dinner with us (Still imagining the oh-so...TINOLANG MANOK and our "sipping" session while the heavy rain torments our roof). They shared laughter with us, even cried with us, watched us learning the "provincial-life". I'm happy that the constituents of  this humble paradise learned to love us and accepted us with arms wide open. :')

2.  The KIDS. :D
         Every morning, they are in our door steps, all fun-packed to play with us. 'Though at times, it's energy-consuming, Sting/Cobra Energy Drink quenching and patience-retaliating, still I see them as bunch of happy goodies armed with "kakulitan". I miss their hugs already.. and their "kiddie pawis" smell. :D haha!

3. The RAIN! :)
        I know that it's ironic, but, rain gives summer no excuses. and.. Alhamdulillah! :) because, if "ULAN, masaya ang MIRANGAN". :D Water is their no. 1 problem. The availability, accessibility and even the potability. So, whenever there's rain in Mirangan, a lot of us are thankful. In the city, we usually don't mind the "existence" of the rain (though some us love RAIN, I, for one). And at times, we get angry and irritated because it delays our works. I guess, we just need to open ourselves in a "broader way of thinking" and just be thankful.

4. THE FARM! :D
        I was MYSTIFIED! For the first time, I got to experience "Farm Life" :D  and it was a BLAST! We were invited by some kind farmers in our humble barangay. We surpassed hills and muddy trails just to be in their proud farm. And we regret not for the scenery and the experiences that we had washed the stress in us. :D We are very thankful to the Paniaguas for sharing these experiences to us. We were really thrilled. From the corn and pineapple picking, to surviving the sharp blades of pineapple leaves, from being "gidagat" in watching the kids climbing the Marang trees, and down to pond escapade! :D

5. being a future Medical Doctor (InshaAllah.. still praying)
      Thru this one month experience, it strengthened my stand on becoming a doctor, someday. :) Helping those who are in pain and those who are in need gives me a certain feeling of satisfaction and at the same time, it fuels my curiosity on the realms of anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology and even in the dwelling of emotions and behavior. But above all, it made me realize the wonders that God can do. He never cease to amaze.

TING CHIP: Wrapping up first half of MARCH 2012

Before I'll leave for Mirangan (NEW ZEALAND! LOL), I would like to share some of my highlights for this month. <3

The first 2 weeks are indeed filled with adrenergic-like moments! Thrills and rush collide and its essence contained in a box.. then, VIOLA! A fantastico-present for my "surprise-immuned system"

because of hectic scheds and for being serious in internalizing that I'M A STRESS-EATER,

 i got this strange habit of eating a WHOLE LOAF BREAD topped with CORNED BEEF AND EGG. *stress*

thanks to Ate Majie's drawings, I got to absorb some of Pediatric Developmental Milestones.

For me, it's easier to "memorize" info if you design it in drawings and stories. :)

I also remember my friend-sister, Haleema. :) I gave her tips in studying like making drawings and using

other's names and birthdays just to "absorb" info. :D

 

Last March 3, 2012, I've witnessed my friend's Pagkawin (Traditional Muslim Wedding) :). Destinee, a Muslim revert shared her heart to her long-time boyfriend, Kuya Bran. :) I'm glad that they both end in each other's arms, Alhamdulillah.

ESPECIALLY CEREAL GUUUUUUY!

Alhamdulillah, I passed the series of exams. I admit, it's one of the toughest exam that I took. 

I felt like I answered BOARD EXAM questions. @@ It was really haaaaard.

I cried couple of times because of these lethal exams (written and the OSCE!!)

AND I ADMIT! I'm such a slow-poke in MATH. Hahaha! Biruin nyo, I even had a hard time in computing 49 divided by 7!! CRAAAP. @@ I almost want to burst during that 15 min computation!! GRAAR! But, thank God, I passed the computation exam with a CORRECT answer (thanks for adding 7 seven times. hahaha. and for my fingers to compute LOL LOL) I also passed OSCE and the written exams ^_^

AGAIN, I'M A STRESS-EATERRRRRR!

I also thank Allah for making this symposium possible. It was such a blessing. :') Dra. Abutazil talked about time management in ISLAMIC WAY. She coupled it with hadiths and quranic messages. I almost want to cry  on every revelations she shares. @@ 

Indeed, ya Allah is Ar Rahman and Ar Raheem.

HAHAHA. *LAUGHTERS!!!* Last March 7, it's our father/ama's birthday. So we decided to post a video

LOL LOL. sorry for the vid. We took it ONE SHOT BIG TIME. blah! :D

(that's our pambahay looks. BWAHAHA! PIGIL NA TAWA! and tausug subs!)

and of course, yesterday, it's my MAMA'S bday! :) surprised her with tagalog-drama novels (TO DIE FOR-DRAMA) and we took her for lunch in FFC ^_^ gave her cake and balloons too. :) Seeing her smile is indeed a blessing. :) I just love making my parents happy and proud. ^_^ hope Allah grant them more years and blessings! :)

TING CHIP: 10 Weird Things I do. :D

Haha. Before I'll spill my concentration on MCH today, I just want to share some of my weird-rituals and behavior. Sort of.. GETTING TO KNOW me more. :) Hahaha.

1. I cant sleep without someone beside me. That explains why until now, I'm sleeping with my mom. haha!
2. I LIKE VEGETABLES. but my body pose allergic reactions to it. hahaha.
3. I buy fries and make it as my main viand. YEP.
4. I dance before I take a bath. LOL.
5. I sleep with books beside me. I strongly adhere to DIFFUSION principles. hahaha.
6. I DRINK CATSUP.
7. I can name catsup brands by just tasting them. hahaha!
8. I listen to Slapshock 1-2 days before exams to calm my nerves.
9. I HAVE A HUGE APPETITE! :D
10. I'm a certified BI-POLAR.

^_^ OK. I'm weird. :) But that's me. haha.
Off to boooooks. Exams on the 12th T_T God bless us. InshaAllah, 100% passing rate. ;)

TING CHIP: HAPPY FEET

I can still remember an old visitor of my Ama. She is an old lady whom my father calls her "auntie". He used to shower her with hugs and kisses on her hands. Then, at the back of my innocent thoughts, I realized that perhaps, this old lady is an important person in my father's life. I was there playing with my dolls (Perhaps I was 8 years old by that time..) and my father asked her to check on my soles.. and with eagerness I showed her both of my feet. She carefully examined my soles and she told my father that...

I WILL GET TO TRAVEL A LOT.

and I guess, APUH (Grandma) is right. :D

I LOVE TRAVELLING! :) I'm indeed blessed to visit different places already. But unfortunately, I haven't got a chance to take some pics on some of the places that I've visited :( but, nevertheless, they are still fresh in my mind. :D

After the NLE results, Kuya Justin asked me to train in Iloilo City under Ear Diagnostics Inc. He wished to make me a Nurse-Audiometrist for his new clinic. ^_^ Learned to live independently. YEHEY. I miss my EDI fam. :l

Actually, I visited Cebu City for 4 times already, but last December, Me, Mama and Farrah e-x-p-l-o-r-e-d Cebu City. HAHA. Conclusion: MAKAWALANG PERA. :) pero Cebu is LOVE. Not because of its infrastructures and blaaaah but because, my mama and ama met here. :) BEST PART: Visited SOUTHWESTERN UNIV. where my parents met. <3

Actually, Me and my family visited this beautiful country 3x already. :D My first visit was way back Grade 6 for an Educ tour (Malaysia-Brunie-Expedition). BEST PART: I spent Eidl Fitri here. <3 with my Ama who is currently based in Kunak. :) It was a month-long celeb. :D
